How Does the Pico Work?

At the heart of Optoma’s Pico Pocket projector range lies a revolutionary technology that enables the Pico pocket projector to beam bright, sharp, uniform images up to 1.5 metres.

Optoma’s Pico Pocket Projector uses Texas Instruments DLP LED technology. This technology uses a system where Red, Green and Blue LED lights are reflected on to a DLP DMD chip which is used to create images that have :

  • Great Contrast - Clear images with great details
  • Better Uniformity - Image corners are as bight as the central image
  • Better Colours - Red Green Blue Led technology gives better colours than solutions with white LED technology
  • Excellent Brightness - Greater efficiency gives a brighter image
